A fox after crossing a river got tis tail entangled in a bus, and could not move. A number of mosquitoes seeing its plight settled upon it and enjoyed a good meal undisturbed by its tail. A hedgehog strolling by took pity upong the fox and went up to him:
"You are in a bad way, neighbor." said the hedgehog: "Shall I relieve you by driving off those mosquitoes who are sucking your blood?" "Thank you, master hedgehog." said the fox, "But I would rather not. "Why, how is that?" asked the hedgehog.
"These mosquitoes have had their fill; if you drive these away, others will come with fresh appetite and bleed me to death."

undisturbed: 방해받지 않은
hedgehog: 고슴도치
strolling by: 한가로이 거닐다, 어슬렁 거리다
relieve: 안심시키다, 편안하게 하다; 해방시키다, 구제하다
sucking: 빠는, 흡인하는, 흡수하는
appetite: 식욕
